The Vineyard
Grown at Mount Eden and its new satellite
vineyard, Domaine Eden, barrels are selected
to reflect the appellation rather than the
estate.
The Wine
This medium to full bodied wine offers the
classic Mount Eden Burgundian style of
Chardonnay with focused fruit of anise and
citrus with good underlying minerality and a
complex, long finish. It is a lighter, more
forward, cousin to
the Estate Chardonnay.
The vintages of Saratoga Cuvée
Chardonnay are 2004, 2006 2007, and 2008.
In 2009 this wine became Domaine Eden
Chardonnay. |
