Mountain Wines
: A GIRL GROWS UP ON MOUNT EDEN
an exhibition of poetry and photography by
Ronald Philip Tanaka
the pinot berries are so stiff and
green, always so unpleasant at
first. but by harvest, i can squeeze
them between my fingers and
they'll burst open like fire, their
sweet juices flowing out across
the vast heavens - without
thought, without fear.
sorta reminds you of marlowe
or shakespeare, doesn't it?
or maybe buddha.
