Mountain Wines:  A GIRL GROWS UP ON MOUNT EDEN

an exhibition of poetry and photography by Ronald Philip Tanaka

Sunset each night the lights of all the
cities in the valley are
spread out before us as we eat,
making even a simple meal

seem rather grand and elegant.
when i was young, i used to

pretend i was a princess who
lived in a castle on a hill

the benevolent ruler of all
i surveyed. it felt just great!
