Saratoga Cuvée Cabernet Savignon 2001

Tasting Notes

Release Date: Spring 2004

The 2001 growing season mimicked the 1997, a classic. The crop was early and uniform, exactly what this cool region and this late variety needs. Dark, rich and dense yet lively on the palate with signature current, blueberry, and sage flavors, supported by refreshing acidity. Blended with 5% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, all of the grapes for this cuvée are farmed by Mount Eden from local mountain vineyards
