The Underground Wineletter

- June/July 1982

This winery usually produces one of California’s best Chardonnays. This wine is a bit more toasty than some, but still very appealing. It has a yellow gold color and a nicely perfumed, fruity/toasty/spicy nose with a nice, spicy/fruity flavor. The wine has a good finish and a good acid and needs some time to round out. With a year or two in the bottle this should be even better. 16 ½ Very Good
