In 1999 we decided to bottle a small amount of Cabernet to reflect our regions unique character. Produced in accordance with our strict policy of careful vineyard selection, low yields, long maturation and elevage in small oak barrels, this is our first release.
Deep, satisfying aromas of currant and blackberry with a touch of black pepper and mocha lead to soft, voluptuous flavors of plum and cassis. Structured for near term drinking, this ’99 will hold and improve over the next several years.
Tremendous value in today’s riotous Cabernet market. Available exclusively at the winery.
