Issue #180

Mount Eden’s light straw-colored 2006 Chardonnay Saratoga Cuvée reveals an attractive bouquet of honeyed citrus, nectarines, mangoes, and white flowers in the background.  The wine is medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing.  Drink over the next 3-4 years.

TASTING NOTES:

Release Date: Spring 2008

We are proud to offer our second release of the Saratoga Cuvée Chardonnay. This vintage has classic Santa Cruz Mountain aromas of hazelnut, gardenia and citrus. On the palate this Chardonnay has mouth watering acidity with bright pear and anise flavors. A long finish echoes the flavors and predicts a long life in the bottle.

This cuvée was created from select lots of our Estate Chardonnay fruit.
